Imperfect tense activity

Last summer two teacher friends and I took a group of students to Costa Rica for a home stay and study at a language school (www.iclc.ws).  While we were there, I observed an instructor’s class where she had students contrast what they did when they were younger to what they do now.  I used this activity in class recently, but I added another step.  I asked students to compare their list with a classmate’s and create a mini poster where they wrote and illustrated four things they had on their lists using the 1st person plural verb forms.  Then they put them on display in the hallway.  Here are a few of them:
